Test First for Embedded Systems
Most Embedded Systems are tested very late in the development process. Most Embedded Systems are not tested deep enough. Why is that such a problem? The later a bug is detected the more expensive the bugfix and the retest is. In such a situation the timeline and the development costs explode.
In this presentation we will introduce a method to continuously test embedded systems throughout
the whole development process:
- driver and component development on an Evaluation Board
- integration up to application level
- simulation-based system testing
A powerful model based approach together with a standardized hardware in the loop platform enables test automation from the developers desktop to the continuous integration server.
